Aeschbach Heritage Diver Automatic Watch

The Aeschbach Heritage Diver is a faithful recreation of the military diving watches issued during the 1970s and early 1980s. Every aspect of the design has been carefully reproduced, from the distinctive case finishing and bezel profile to the period-correct dial layout, capturing the character and appearance of the original service watches that inspired it.

While the original watches utilised Tritium luminous material, this modern interpretation benefits from contemporary Super-LumiNova technology. For historical authenticity, the dial retains the traditional encircled "T" marking found on military watches of the era, although Super-LumiNova is non-radioactive and does not deteriorate with age in the same way as Tritium.

This model was produced as part of a special commemorative project commissioned through a U.S. procurement contractor. As a result, production is strictly limited to the existing inventory, and it is unlikely that this watch will be manufactured again once current stocks are exhausted.

The dial and hands feature carefully selected luminous material that closely replicates the warm appearance of vintage Tritium while delivering the superior brightness, longevity, and safety of modern Super-LumiNova.

The Heritage Diver is equipped with a sapphire crystal, widely regarded as the premium material for watch crystals due to its exceptional scratch resistance and durability.

Sapphire is significantly harder than mineral glass and offers outstanding protection against everyday wear and accidental impacts. This makes it particularly popular among military personnel, law enforcement officers, security professionals, divers, and outdoor enthusiasts who require maximum reliability from their equipment.

The crystal is further enhanced with anti-reflective coating to improve legibility while reducing glare in bright conditions.

Although more costly to manufacture than mineral glass, sapphire crystal is generally reserved for higher-quality watches and professional-grade instruments where durability and long-term performance are essential.
